Better than the piece of trash that was in here when I bought the house in February. Now I can use the oven and more than one stove top burner.

Easy to use features

No more burnt food or under cooked food like our 22 year old oven. (Different company).
This GE sets the oven temp and it stays there. The size of the oven is large enough to cook everything needed for our large family gatherings.
We like the different size burners, too.
Haven't used our grill yet, but will soon.
We raised our 3 sons on an earlier model with a grill. Used it quite often.
This is not our first GE appliance. Have always had excellent reliability from GE.
Really looks nice in our kitchen.

Good and attractive stove with knob issues.

This is an attractive stove for those who like old-fashioned white and it works well and suits my needs. But I dislike the burner knobs, which counter intuitively and dangerously, are set so the burners go from high to low, instead of low to high. As a result I have to be very careful when I light the stove, making sure my sleeve is far from the burner when I turn the stove on. Also, since there are few dishes most cooks would prepare on high heat, it means that for near everything I have to turn the knob almost all the way to the right to get the medium or low flame I need and then have to turn and turn the knob all the way back to the left to return it to the off position. I would wish for a better design. of that one element. Otherwise, stove is fine and so far works well.

Love the grates on top as they do not let small pans tip over as other makes. Also the variety of surface burners is done right so not all the large ones are on the front,

GREAT OVEN

I could not wait to get a new oven. The burners are great and heats up very fast and evenly. I kept the middle griddle on my old stove to put my spoon rest in the middle. For this one I opted to go with the grate. It's very helpful for larger pans. My only wish is that all of the burners were the same size. I am not a crook that uses different sizes and I use the largest burner more frequently. I used the steam clean once and honestly it really did not do anything. It's pretty much for only a very light soils. The longtime Appliance store I use is not a fan of using the self-clean. I did have to use it one time so far because the first dish I I put in the oven accidentally spilled. The self-clean worked wonderful. I keep the inside and outside glass door clean with soap and water as well and wipe the stainless steel after each use. Love it!
