So much better

The range/stove that this replaced was over 45 years old. While basically the same principles, it works better and has more features (like the center grill) than the old unit. The variety of burners make it possible to match the size of the pan to the amount of flame. Better energy usage, et cetera.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Stove Works Fantastic. Looks Rich and Beautiful. I heard it was a Great Stove didn't imagine it would be this Good. But I caution that must check every inch of the Stove before letting delivery men leave your residence. They brought me a Damaged Stove. It was banged up on one side. They hid it from me by pushing the Damaged side up against the kitchen Counter. I am still waiting for replacement. But like I said it is still one heck of Stove. Must have item!!!
