My new Range

I love this Gas Range. It's well made and looks great. The inside of the oven has a good fiber covered seal. The top range has heavy weight grills and the center grill is perfect for warming up pizza and other food items. I'm really happy with this product. I'm going to center the oven in the opening or put in a small shelf on one side.

Nothing good but the price

I’ve had this stove for only a couple of years and it doesn’t cook evenly anymore, the overly heavy grates never come clean either in the dishwasher bottom rack or while in the oven during self cleaning. The middle griddle coating has already started to wear off in spots. It look disgusting. I have taken exceptionally good care of the stove knowing that everyone that comes into my home will see it. It upsets me every time I look at how bad it looks. Completely disappointed in GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the oven not cooking evenly, we suggest disconnecting power to your unit for 2-3 minutes to reset the controls. If the problem persists, we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance.
