GREAT RANGE

This range is a basic model. The gas range was changed to propane fuel and the propane kit was in the box. Works great and looks beautiful too. I love it. Has everything I need to cook.

I had a GE stove for over 30 years and had no problems. Decided to go with GE again. Stove is similar to my old stove, just newer. So far, so good. I wanted the self clean because I like that feature, but my stove has both self and steam. I like this so I can do steam clean first and maybe not need the full self cleaner everytime. The stove works well and looks great. It did not come in the fingerprint resistant stainless steel and I wish it did. I thought because it didn't have much stainless steel on it, no biggie. But I do have to wipe prints off it after use. I just keep a wash rag near it to wipe down when I am done. Temperatures etc, all work good. Took us a while to figure out how to use the timer. I prefer not to use the one that turns the stove off when done as I normally set the timer a few min. before the food is done to check it and Don't want the oven to turn off early. Very happy with it. I expect it to last 30 years like my last one.

Great stove but poor quality bottom drawer and no protector for spills so you have to buy an aftermarket protector. Function and design is user friendly.
