Not working well for us

We have about one inch of space on either side of the stove, and when we use the burners on top with a pan, the wall and fridge get so hot you cannot touch them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear that the side of the range is getting hot. For proper air circulation and correct installation, some appliances must have air clearances around the product. Installations can vary, so checking the installation instructions to determine space requirements for your specific model is recommended.
The following are general minimum clearances for ranges:
1. 1 ½ inches to the nearest adjacent sidewall above the cooktop on both sides
2. 30 inches between the cooktop and a cabinet
3. 0 inches for sides below the cooktop

This is my second one of this range, had one in our former house that went with the house, so bought the same one for our new house to replace an old electric stove. Really like this model.

Very solid range, well designed and thoughtful construction. Built much like a professional stove. I prefer a timer that counts seconds from the start. This timer does not, except the last 59 seconds! But that’s minor. An excellent choice overall.

My old range quit working just before Thanksgiving and I was hosting the whole family.. in a panic I contacted ABT where a lady recommended this range after listening to my needs. This has proven to be a solid, reliable range. For me it was a seamless transition from my previous range to this model.
