Good quality game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a Monopoly person but my kids love this game. I see them enjoying playing with their Star Wars characters and spend a lot of times with their friends. The characters are made of good quality metals, and the board itself is thick with nice design.

What's not to love about the Mandalorian story and characters?! This version of the game makes the whole game of Monopoly seem brand new! They did a great job with this one!

Fun twist on the old game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was half expecting this to be just a themed version of the original Monopoly game, but it's actually quite different. There are fewer properties on the board, and the concept of building houses and hotels has been removed. In its place is an element of strategy, with each player having slightly different abilities - eg. pay less rent or earn more when passing go - and the addition of The Child and several enemy pieces on the board.
The object of the game is to protect the child. As players land on or pass the square containing the child, they will take possession of the child, whether the child is alone or held by another player, so expect them to change hands fast and often. Players will move more slowly while they have the child, but will gain some benefits too. Storm troopers and Moff Gideon are also moving around the board, and encounters with them will result in a battle, though it's just a die roll, so nothing to complicated for younger (or older) players!
Games are generally a lot shorter than traditional monopoly, which may suit some but may frustrate others. The game is over when Moff Gideon is defeated in battle, at which point the richest player wins, or if the child is captured by an enemy, everybody loses.
It's a good quality board with metallic pieces. Fans of the show will appreciate it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you love Star Wars and the original Monopoly, you will love this game! First off, board layout and the pieces are awesome. The way the game is played is a little different than the original but just as fun. My family and I had a great time playing this game and my daughter wants to play this with her friends when the opportunity arises. Makes a wonderful gift, especially for the holidays coming up!

Fun for Star Wars Fans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids who are big Mandalorian fans really liked this version of Monopoly. The board has the same set up as regular Monopoly except the properties are Mandalorian themed hideouts. It even has jail and free parking. The character tokens come with a card that tells each character’s unique abilities. There are some extra features like a child (baby Yoda) to protect and some enemy storm troopers. overall it was fun game.
