Wonder Woman Doll Legacy Continues!

I was so happy when DC and Barbie teamed up to create new Barbie dolls in the likeness of the Wonder Woman film. The Barbie team has honestly done such a fabulous job, I was even lucky to get their Comic Con exclusive of Amazon Princess Wonder Woman Doll! Barbie, you did it again with this new doll set for WW84. As of this very moment, the doll set arrived to me and in perfect condition. I am in love with Steve and Diana’s face sculpts. They are spot on and the paint job is incredible. The outfits based on the new Wonder Woman sequel hit it right of out the park. Seriously, Barbie team thank you so much for doing a fabulous job on this new Wonder Woman 1984 doll set. I am so grateful not only as a Barbie fan/collector but also as a Wonder Woman fan. This doll set turn out perfect. I’m so excited to place this new set along with my other Wonder Woman film dolls. Thank you so much and please keep up with the good work!

this is a nice set... the fit of the costumes could be better, (Steve's pants, Diana's gown) and the fabric on Diana's gown looks stiff, a chiffon overlay could have fixed that... nice hair on both dolls. Fair price.

Beautiful but defective

I love this doll set but unfortunately mine arrived defective. The dress is like a silky material and whoever packed her in the box, they damaged fabric while in the process. For $80 I don't want anything damaged. Unfortunately, Mattel's customer service is terrible. 3-4 weeks (minimum) to process a return and they told me that "IF they can replace it, they will but won't refund the shipping ". I understand times are hard right now but I'm sorry, that is not the way you provide service. The only reason the doll is damaged, is at the fault of your own companyIs the correct way to handle this would be to apologize for the inconvenience, and send me a replacement item with a shipping label to return the old. Done.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cute couple

Even with two dolls in this set, the price point seems a bit high considering how simple their outfits are. I don't think their clothing warrants the price tag, even for a double-doll set. Additionally, these dolls seemed to be sloppily packaged; some with dolls with VERY heads (not just a small tilt), snagged dresses, etc. Those things aren't a big deal if you're going to unbox your dolls and play, but those things are a dealbreaker if you want to keep them in the box to display. So the doll set does overall seem a bit rushed and overpriced. But there ARE good things to say, too. The face molds on both dolls are great. They are excellent-looking Barbie-fied versions of both actors; it's cute that they're holding hands in the box; and the hair looks wonderful on both dolls. Despite the overall simple look of the clothing, the outfits are well-done regarding accuracy to the movie, so that's another favorable point.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So I've been waiting for this new set for quite some time....I love Gal Gadots version of Wonder Woman....she's just perfect. This set did not disappoint at all! Diana is simply just stunning....her beautiful hair arrived perfectly sculpted and she has the cutest pink pumps on (yes they are pink in the movie too) and the Steve Trevor is also fantastic....his hair did require some extra gel to smooth it down so it looks like the doll prototype but I seem to have fixed it pretty well. The quality of clothing is impeccable as always and I love all the little touches...the necklace, bracelet, fanny pack and shades. Can't wait to finally see the movie!! Well done Barbie collector!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know most people would be buying this set for Wonder Woman herself but I must say I am so in love with this male doll. The outfit is so trendy and thoughtfully put together, the face mold and paint are great, and the hair is well done too. That said, they did a great job on her as well. I just wish the curls on her hair were not so stiff.

Cute dolls

Got these dolls cause I thought they would be cute to add to my collection and they are so pretty. The Wonder Woman doll is jus gorgeous and I love her outfit and I'm not really a Wonder Woman fan. Only downsides were her necklace (it was just an easily broken rope), the Steve Trevor doll doesn't look like Chris Pine at all (beggars choosers; got be accurate all the time), and the pink shoes. Don't know if the shoes are pink in the movie but it doesn't go with the outfit. Overall nice set to have.
