Increased signal strength inside my log cabin

It's a good feeling to have reliable coverage throughout the cabin. Don't have to stand by the window to try and get a signal, and hope it stays long enough to complete the call or send a text. Safety wise, we can get hold of someone without hoping for a signal.

I use WeeBoost in my RV. I have a friend who has been looking for a solution to no cell signal at his property in the mountains of Idaho. I visited there last weekend and discovered that I could get two and sometimes three bars of signal. Did a speed test and found it adequate to make calls and send messages. In the near future we are going to return to the property with a longer antenna pole to see if we can increase the bars. I am very pleased with this product. Have already purchased an additional unit.

Absolutely works!

This thing is a must when working from a camper. It absolutely works if you understand how it works. We have this on our fifth wheel camper. External antenna on the rear and internal antenna at the front. The internal antenna can be placed in the bedroom or the cable ran below the bedroom so we can use it just outside the camper. Put your phone or hotspot near the antenna, then we use a router to extend the WiFi signal so we have internet all around the campsite. Yes, there's only an effective range within a few feet of the inside antenna, but that's to prevent feedback (oscillation) and helps the system perform a maximum signal boost. Like a microphone and speaker, they need to be distant from each other if you want the speaker to be loud.

We got one for our rv and the antenna inside is like 1 foot away and unless your dang near touching the antenna with your cell phone you maybe get 2 bars of boost. What a waste of 500 bucks. if i could give it 0 stars we would.

Doesn't work

I spent some time working with support to try get mine working, they were helpful, sent me new cables and antenna but no matter the configuration, I could see no difference in signal with the unit on or off. I tried it in maybe 20 different locations. From my experience a waste of money and a bunch of my time.

Everyone is correct. This product is so poor on boosting radius it's a crime. 2 feet? Just step outside for better phone signal with the booster off. No better inside with the booster on.??

Response from wilsonelectronicsBy May 3, 2020
Hello Keith. Sorry to hear that you are not seeing an improved signal. Have you been able to take any dB readings to measure the signal strength? Also, do you ever see a red light when the booster is powered on? This could all help determine what the main issue is here. If you haven't already, I recommend reaching out to our customer support team at 866-294-1660 or emailing our online support at support@wilsonelectronics.com where they can assist you with further troubleshooting to help figure out what could be done to improve your overall signal. We hope to hear from you soon!
