When you need it....You Need It!

These Drive 4G-X products work for those hard to reach areas, but as they are clear, it does take something to amplify to begin with. In general, the 2x2 MIMO of a NightHawk or JetPack 8800L will work better without amplification in Moderate coverage areas, but in those hard to reach areas, the amplifier means being connected versus not. I do wish there were more diagnostics tools available to help improve the percentage of time the WeBoost Drive 4G-X provides a benefit. A manual on tools and techniques to improve the performance would be great. I have used the SureCall RF power meter to help aim the WeBoost Directional antennas, but those RF power measurements were not as clear as expected on aiming the antenna. Having just the red and green LED to indicate feedback seems a bit limited on help improve the performance in very heard to reach areas.

Great product,

Great product, I have installed this on my small Axion motorhome. Now I can work from a lot of different places. With the right mounting bracket for the rear door of the Promaster van 1500. There is no need to drill into the metal. I would buy it again for my next rig.

I am looking for more better

I am OTR driver. Looking better strong unit. If you have better one I like to switch. I like idea of this unit but for OTR driver we drive lot of very weak signal or nothing. I need better unit. Need help

Not much difference, not sure it is worth the pric

I bought this l about a week ago an tried it this weekend up near our campground and it didn’t seem to make much difference in service. Was no difference between it turned off or on. Seemed to work a little bit on my phone but not the wife’s phone and they are the exact same phones
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great booster, well worth the cost

My wife and I travel to the north Maine woods for a 10 day camping trip every year -- 55 miles from the nearest town, 33 miles down logging roads, heavily forested, totally off the grid. We camp on the northwest tip of Moosehead Lake where moose seriously outnumber people. We've never had a cell phone signal within 25 miles of the campground, but the campground owners have a Weboost home system and have a great signal. This year, we decided to get a booster and went with a Weboost -- the weboost Drive Reach. If you look at the coverage maps from all of the major cell phone service providers, not one of them has any coverage where we camp. BUT... we had a reliable cell phone signal every time we jumped into our SUV! And it was a strong signal! And, we had a cell signal almost all the way up the logging roads. Of course, the booster can't boost if there is nothing there, so there were some dead spots. I sat in my driveway at home, where our cell service is weak, and watched the db levels. I saw an improvement in signal strength from between 20-35%. And, no more dead spots on my 25 miles commute to work! Totally worth the cost! My wife is happy and, as the saying goes, a happy wife is a happy life!

Would buy again

On our RV, helps improve cell signal in remote areas. We use Zoom several times a week and wouldn't have a strong enough signal without the we boost. Would be 5 stars except for 3 things; mounting tabs for outside cable don't stick, no mounting screws for the booster, no trim plate where cable penetrates inside of RV.
