Best knives I have ever had!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I purchased these, I did some research and found that Henckels knives were very highly recommended so I decided to give them a try. My husband opened the box and the first thing he did was run his thumb down the blade. He of course was cut. I love the grips and know with proper care they will last a long time. The only thing I would suggest is that a knife the size of the serrated one with a smooth blade be included.

RUST!!!

I have only had my set since February. One of the knives rusted right away after going through the dishwasher. I thought maybe that was my mistake, but after hand washing only since then I am still getting rust on my knives. Plus they are supposed to be dishwasher safe, so that shouldn't be the issue. I had my old set of JA Henckles for 16 years and never had a rust spot! What could be the problem with this set? I am very unhappy about this rust problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. This is not typical, but the blades are made of high carbon steel, so they can rust under certain circumstances. We would recommend using a cookware cleaner, like Bar Keepers Friend, to remove any rust or staining. For particularly stubborn rust, you may try a rust eraser (https://www.zwilling.com/us/zwilling-sharpener-carbon-steel-use-care-kit-35000-001/35000-001-0.html). If cleaning is not successful, and you feel you are experiencing a potential material defect, you may consider filing a warranty claim: https://www.zwilling.com/us/warranty.html

Great knife set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this knife set As I was using similar of my roommate who recently moved out. I have to say that this is the best kitchen purchase I’ve made in a while. I just love cutting stuff with these knives. Perfect weight

Knife set just arrived

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received the much anticipated knife set. My old set (another brand) is 20+ years old. The knives were well packaged. Looks nice on my counter. Haven’t used the knives yet but the are heavy duty.
