[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this set as a gift. I had always heard of Henckels and was excited to have received my first set. From the butcher block that elegantly holds this set to the feel of the knives I can already tell I am going to appreciate this set. I have only used the chefs knife and Santuko knife so far and they fit well in my hand and are laser sharp.
Looking to many years with this set
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great knives, poor block design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic quality knife set. The block design could be improved due to the space designed for the scissors. This central location for the scissors obstructs two adjacent knife slots causing congestion and poor appearance. otherwise no complaints.

No matter where I live, in Japan or in US I always look for HENCKELS! My favorite one is Santoku which is originated to my country, Japan. It fits in my hand very well and my hand doesn't get tired.
