Nice starter set for someone just entering the cooking world. The knives are made from high quality German stainless steel - so no rusting or tarnishing. The bolsters (middle of the knife) are forged from one piece of steel so no stress points that can cause breakage.
Set includes steak knives which is a nice bonus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this gift for my 20 year anniversary at work. It was delivered a week before the estimated date which is awesome, The entire knife set and the block to hold are very sharp looking. I have it nicely placed on my counter.

They are sharp and also pretty well balanced. I love the steak knives also they have a smaller seration on them. I am happy with my purchase , I will update my review if anything changes.
