I own the spirit ceramic non stick and love cooking with it but sometimes it seems like overkill to add the non stick so I purchased this set to blend in with my current set. The pieces are perfect, sometimes you need a stainless skillet without a coating. The dutch oven works great for searing, you get a bit more browning on the sear than with ceramic.
All in all great pieces and the glass lids are the best. Handles on the lid are generous and the handles on the pots stay cool to the touch.

Excellent Stainless

You can't beat a set of quality stainless steel cookware. These pans are a very nice weighted 3 ply cookware so they heat up quickly and evenly. The handle design keeps them from getting hot even over long cooking times. And who doesn't love a glass lid! Keep an eye on your food without having the lift the lid and lose heat. They clean up very easy or can go into the dishwasher.
Stainless steel will never wear out, chip or peel; you'll have it for a lifetime. They can also go on any type of stove; so if you upgrade to an induction stove, these pans will still work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Need stainless as well as non stick

I use my stainless pots and pans every single meal...I reach for my nonstick for eggs and sugary syrups or sticky foods but when making a delicate sauce (2 qt) or cooking pasta or looking for a nice meat browning with brown bits to scrape up for a sauce you need a high quality stainless set. Three ply with aluminum core ensures even heating and durability with no warps and I love the see through lids.

I was looking for a induction safe Stainless Steel Cookware Set and this was a good choice. Good quality and the price was within my budget. Dishwasher safe and cleans up easily.

great tri-ply

With all of the healthy cooking going on it's nice to be able to find a great tri-ply set of cookware that is all stainless steel.
Non-stick is great for eggs and grilled cheese but nothing beats a stainless steel pan for searing, boiling, frying and sauteing.
This set is easy to clean, can withstand high temperatures in both the oven and on the stove and can last a life time.

Long lasting

This set is all you need. The 3 layers with an aluminum core makes heating even and fast. Well-priced for all you get and will last for years to come. Easy to clean, too - just soak in warm water and it all washes clean! Much better than buying separate pieces that will cost much more.

Stainless steel cookware sets are the way to go if you're sick of replacing non-stick sets. This set is well made with an aluminum core for even heat distribution and glass lids.

It is worth to invest!

For what is worth of this 7pc. Spirit Stainless Steel is more than it cost. This is by far I can recommend for anyone who's looking for at least a 3-ply construction pots and pan from rim to rim – 3mm. Construction of this pot is impressive, it's a solid piece of steel in and out for easy maintenance mainly cleaning there should be no food residue leaving around the external part of the pot. Thick aluminum core conducts heat quickly and evenly cooks food.
Oven safe up to 500°F and glass lids 400°F.
Dishwasher safe
Compatible with gas, induction, ceran, halogen, and electric cooktops
