Always Sharp!

I love that these knives are so low maintenance that that I don't have to think about whether or not I am using a sharp knife. I never knew how much easier it was to cut with a sharp knife all the time because when I have purchased knives in the past, the knife would dull at such a slow rate that I always just thought I needed a new one, but not anymore! I love the weight of theses knives and that fact that this set comes with steak knives! I also love how each slot had a picture of what knife goes where so I don't have to guess.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this self-sharpening block. It looks so elegant on my kitchen counter and I love that I don't have to worry about sharpening my knives because the block does it for me! Very sharp knives too.

This set is everything you would ever want in a knife set/block The sharpening feature keeps your quality knifes at their best every time you use them. A great pair of kitchen scissors, 8 steak knives and an amazing assortment of preparation knifes. I love that there are 2 size paring knives, 2 size carvers, chopping santoku, boning knife, tomato knife and a really awesome shaped prep knife. I really like using the bread knife since I had never had one before, it slices baguettes so much better than I ever expected.

Great Knife Set

Who doesn't love the idea of ALWAYS having a sharp knife! That's exactly what you get with this classic set. Every time I pull it out or replace it, it gets sharpened. Ezy Peezy! And the knife itself is awesome; great weight, very well balanced and made of German steel. I think this is as close as you can get to the knives made in Germany without spending double the $$$. Two of the most used knives in my kitchen are the chef knife and the bread knife; it is truly a game changer to have these in your set. It also comes with a carving knife which I use a lot but especially appreciate it at Thanksgiving.

Great knife that stays sharp!

What a great idea! Zwilling put a quality knife in a self sharpening block.
Most of the self sharpening blocks on the market do not have quality knives nor do the sharpening mechanisms last very long.
This set has both long lasting sharpening mechanisms and really good quality knives that will stay sharp for every use.

If you do not, for whatever reason, enjoy or have time, to sharpen your knives, then this block is perfect. The slots have a mechanism that gently sharpens when you take the knives out or put them back in. This means no more dull knives, which are actually dangerous to use. The serrated knives do not need sharpening and do not have the built-in sharpener. Great knife made with German steel and made in Spain. These will be favorites for years to come.

This new modern design and self-sharpening block is something everyone should have. No need to bring my knives for professional sharpening; I can easily do that with the Classic set.
