[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to upgrade my knife block that I had used for years. I knew Henckels was a reputable name and invested in this beautiful 20-piece self-sharpening block. I would have l given 5 stars, however there was no insert that identified which knife went where…I knew a few, of course, but needed assistance. I searched the Internet and couldn’t locate a chart that included the variety I had…not even close. I even searched for what a particular knife would look like, searching the block slot name…to no avail. I do hope they are in the correct slot so that I’m using them per their intended design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the full tang design. Bought though a service award from work, so I didn’t get to handle before purchasing. Blades are a little thinner than expected. So far no complaints.

Good knife set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thing I like most about this knife set is the block which then knife comes in is super heavy and strudy. It was made to last.
What I don't like about the knife is that I wish it was heavier and the blade was made out of Damascus steel. But I know this will increase the price..
I'll be willing to pay for a better higher quality knife then something that doesn't feel right.
But I will still use this set. It's a great starter.
