Not what I thought I would be getting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had these for a month now. They're sharp but I've noticed they like to rust between the handle scales and the supposed "stainless steel" between the scales. My mother had a set of J.A. Henckel knives that never had this issue. Of course they were 30 years old and were probably still made in Germany and not in a place with lower QC standards.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall nice set. Love the sharp German steel. Steak knives leave a little something to be desired they're small, light and flimsy not up to par with rest of set. Hope to have many years of service from my new knives.

Great knives set for everyday cook

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really have enjoyed this knives set. It’s sharp, looks nice and has all of the knives I need. My only complaint is the size of the block. It’s quite large, so my kids could grab the knives off of the counter if they tried. It would’ve been better to cut a few inches off the back and make it flat so it sits further back off the counter. Overall, I would highly recommend this set.
