Great knives, but block could use scaling down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knifes are super sharp, granted I just got them so durability hasn't been tested yet. They weigh about 1-2oz more per knife compared to my 10 year old Made in China set of JA Henkels Everedge Plus knives that still are intact. My complaint so far is the block. They easily could've cut 5" off the back perpendicular to the bottom so it sat back farther on the counter, or atleast gave the option. I almost wondered if they just didn't finish my block correctly at first due to the stain not being applied that great in the front and you can see white in-between the grain. But comparing to pictures the weirdly long block that needs to be focal point of an island I don't have is correct.

The best knife set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knives are very sharp and make cooking prep a breeze. The self-sharpening feature of the knife block make this a really good investment. The only thing I would change is stamp the label of each knife on the knife for ease of putting away without referencing the box.

Fantastic All-In-One Set

Self-sharpening block is a nice touch...these Spanish-made forged steel blades stay sharp nonetheless. Forged for balance and this set leaves little if anything out. 8 steak knives..included...should be enough for guests.
