Amazing knives

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew they were a good brand, but I am in awe of how beautiful this set is and how well they slice, very sharp. The feel of the cutlery feels really nice and solid, you can tell they are great quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good quality knives though a bit pricey. Box comes well packed & organized, with no damage. One warning. The Self sharpening block is HUGE! Easily twice the size of my old 15 piece Sabatier block set. Sits 15 1/2 inches out from side of kitchen counter molding, with end of knife handles 19 inches out from side.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Cutlery Set I’ve Ever Owned

Great knives, but block could use scaling down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knifes are super sharp, granted I just got them so durability hasn't been tested yet. They weigh about 1-2oz more per knife compared to my 10 year old Made in China set of JA Henkels Everedge Plus knives that still are intact. My complaint so far is the block. They easily could've cut 5" off the back perpendicular to the bottom so it sat back farther on the counter, or atleast gave the option. I almost wondered if they just didn't finish my block correctly at first due to the stain not being applied that great in the front and you can see white in-between the grain. But comparing to pictures the weirdly long block that needs to be focal point of an island I don't have is correct.

Not what I thought I would be getting.

They're sharp but I've noticed they like to rust between the handle scales and the supposed "stainless steel" between the scales. My mother had a set of J.A. Henckel knives that never had this issue. Of course they were 30 years old and were probably still made in Germany and not in a place with lower QC standards.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
