I haven't used it yet to cut vegetables or meat, but I tested them to slice an unopened piece of mail and some magazine paper... Wow! I can't wait to use these and see how effortless it will be to cut food. Absolutely gorgeous and stunning finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why did I wait so long!! I have been looking at the Miyabi knife sets for a while and finally pulled the trigger. Amazing knives. Cuts everything like butter. Hardly any pressure needed to make amazing cuts. Would definitely buy more of these knives
