Great Set for Beginners!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dad is the biggest Henckels fan, and after he spent some big money on a wonderful set from Zwilling, I was feeling left out! I wanted a set that had all of the knives I needed for my day-to-day cooking but I didn't want anything too extravagant just in case I didn't like them. This was the perfect block for me! The price is great and it has everything you would need in a knife set. The quality is wonderful as well! I love my Henckels!

Knives for christmas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been married for over 50 years, and this is the first good set of knives in a butcher block that we have ever had. It was a Christmas gift from a dear niece of ours. The knives are so sharp, and work so well in all our meal preparations.

Sleek and sharp edged knives

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an upgrade of the knives I’ve been using which are usually cheap and loose it’s sharpness for a month or so. I have high expectations for these set of knives, it’s lightweight and sharp. Although this is more the affordable set which are made from India,it’s stamped, I just hope that it will be durable enough and not loose it’s sharpness because I’ll be using it a lot on my kitchen. The block has a chip at the bottom which has been there, not from the shipping because the paint and varnish is still intact. Not a big deal since I’m after the quality of the knives.

Beautiful, all-encompassing knife set

It seemed to be hard to find a knife set without a full set of steak knives, which I would never use because I am vegetarian, but this one has everything else I need. I like the style and colors too.
