I have used this set for several weeks now. The incredible sharpness of the factory edge has required little to no maintenance thus far. A light stroke of the honing steel was needed for only one knife after a whole day prepping food for a large gathering. The overall ease of care is wonderful, and that I can simply wash and put away the knife how I want without worrying about whether I missed some tedious step is excellent. This is my first complete knife set, and I think this might be my last - which is why I bought Zwilling to begin with. I appreciate the steak knife slots which I have filled with my Opinel steak knife set.

Best knife set ever. Knives are beautifully sharp and ergonomically comfortable to cut with. We had our old set for 15 years and decided it was time to get a new set and we are not disappointed.!
