It arrived and he set is better then I Could have ever expected.First of all the get is beautiful. This o& deserves to e presented for everyone to admire sorry I have a thing for knives. That are The perfect weight and cut like buter. Being a skeplic I Thought for sure the Self sharpening wos a gimmick. I'll have to get back to you on that, They are perfectly sharp still. Thank you Henckel

This compact block contains the essential kitchen knives, each with their own custom sharpening slot. It also let's you easily maintain the edge and angle of the blades, keeping them sharp every time you use them, without over-sharpening. The Classic knives are really well balanced with comfortable, ergonomic handles.

Great essential knife set! The forged
Classic line feels solid in your hand. They are well made out of German stainless steel. I love the look of the modern stainless steel with the dark wood block. Super low edge maintenance with this self-sharpening block.
