This complete set will stand up to the new standard for excellence. Self sharpening is here to stay! No need for honing steels and sharpening tools for these knives. Great variety in a handsome block set. Quality steel with precision sharpness at all times!

Best knives ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the self sharpening component that is inside the wood storage block. Always keeps my knives sharp and ready to use. The durability of Henckels knives are amazing. The block does stick out more than I'm use to. So space saving space can be an issue of you don't have a lot of counter space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The selection of knives provide versatility in food prep, the full bolster allows for easy cleaning, and the handle design is comfortable. The knife block is attractive on the counter.
My only reason for not giving a 5-star rating is because I haven't had the knives long enough to testify to their durability or their ability to stay sharp with the self-sharpening wood block.

These are amazing. I love them. They stay sharp. Easy to clean and take care of. They look great on my counter. I will be buying my adult children the same one for each of there for Christmas.
