Always sharp

A forged knife was important to me. I have found these to be a quality set from Henckels, for a good price. The knives included are the perfect profiles. We use the chef and santoku for most meal prep, the prep is an awesome size, the serrated is always handy for breads and tomatoes and the paring is great for small work. The sharpening block ensures they are always sharp!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Customer service was helpful when I asked about my order cause I wasn’t sure if it was being shipped out what. But great product! Obviously if you maintain the equipment it won’t rust haha. So yea

This set has exactly what you need to cook a great meal, everyday if you want. It doesn't have all you'd need for more complicated prep - like boning a chicken, or for bigger meals - like carving a turkey, but it has two great workhorses of the kitchen, an 8-inch chef's and 7-inch santoku. Plus smaller knives for making salads and sandwiches. (There are two other Classic sets with a self sharpening block if you feel you need more specialty knives.)
Whichever size set you go with, you can't go wrong. They are very good knives - and an exceptional value. I really like them; I've had a set for more than 20 years. These are forged knives made of quality steel. They have a triple riveted handle, a comfortable integrated bolster. Even if they aren't made in Germany, the steel is, and their quality is unquestionable.

Maintenance Free Set

Classic knives are as close as you can get to the knives made in Germany, at a more affordable price. They are forged from German steel and are made in Spain. The three rivet handle means they're perfectly weight, balanced and extremely durable. Guaranteed to last a lifetime!
This self sharpening set looks beautiful but is more than a pretty face. Each knife slot is labeled so it helps you select the correct knife and know the correct slot to return it to. Every time you pull a knife out and replace it, your knife is sharpened. Never have a dull knife again!
