[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives were a Christmas gift, and just arrived. They came from a real big shot chef. I used to cook professionally for many years, but my knives are old. We started using the Henkels immediately. They are fantastic! So sharp, perfectly weighted, and the highest quality ever. I will be enjoying these for the rest of my life. My kids have already started arguing about who gets it when I go to the big kitchen in the sky.

Last set I will need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These will be the last set of knives I will ever need. I’ve had several sets of knives in blocks but these are the best I have ever owned. The blade is one piece with the handle attached. Not just a knife blade stuck in a handle. The weight of the knives are good. Not too heavy but feel good in my hand as I am preparing food. The cuts the knives make are clean. My husband has always tried to keep my knives sharp but I am needing them sharpened frequently. These won’t be hard to keep sharpened. I am not sure how to describe how I know but I do. It’s the quality that I can see, feel and even hear as they come out the block.

Good knives, but bulky
