[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up in restaurants that my family owned and/or operated...40+ years later and Henkels are still my preferred knives. Getting ready to start traveling full time and bought this set for my coach.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge JA Henckels fan and have had an 8” knife for 25 years. Needing a whole set of knives I purchased the 15 piece set. I am very disappointed because the quality is not the same. The sharpener steel, shears and block are made in China. The block is not of good quality-the front for steak knives is particle board stained to match the rest of the block. The knives are very sharp just like my old Henckle knife so I’m happy with that.

Defective block

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Decent for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knives came very sharp and the handles seem sturdy. The blades seem more fragile than I was expecting though. But I just may not know much about knives.
