Sharp knives. Poor design and quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Review as part of a free gift. These knives arrived sharp out of the box. Hubby accidentally cut himself pulling them out of the cardboard.
The design is flawed and really bothers me. I wish I had purchased a different set. For the price, I was expecting much better quality. Scratches already out of the box.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much better than we expected. Nice and heavy, well balanced and came sharp. We love the self sharpening feature, not a fan of the sharpening stick so this is a big plus.

Everything you want or need, all in one block! AND it's self-sharpening feature means no honing and other sharpening tools! The 8 steak knives are an added bonus, as not all blocks come with steak knives. Nice to have it all at your fingertips on the counter!
