The Demeyere Industry 1.5 Quart sauce pan is the perfect sized pan for my elderly mother. She needs a pan for smaller quantities of foods with the same qualities offered in some of the larger pans.
This sauce pan is amazing. The 5 ply construction is thick enough to prevent scorching, yet light enough for her to easily handle. The V in the handle keeps heat from transferring to the handle which protects against hand burns. Easy to clean, the Silvinox treatment the pans undergo prevents staining and keeps it in pristine condition. Very happy with this selection.

This is a heavy pan. And it has a sufficiently heavy lid. Just what we wanted as an upgrade and since we are using induction burners more. Haven’t managed to get anything to stick to it yet, but it’s only two weeks old. Pro tip: Get some goof off for the stubborn stickers.

Terrific line of pans. Stay cool cover and handles work well. Heat distribution is very even and predictable. Cooks extremely well, and cleans up easily. Even stubborn, burnt-on residues come off easily with a short soak. Substantially but not too heavy. Will last a lifetime.
