I use this pan for all kinds of grains. The depth is perfect. Demeyere Industry pans are made with a 5-Ply construction (layers) and have outstanding heat conduction and retention. It has whats called flatbase technology so pan won't ever warp when heated, even at high heats. Look inside the pan, what is it missing? Rivets, there are no rivets inside this pan so clean up is a dream. The pan also has a pouring edge for no-mess cooking. It can be used on all cooking surfaces including induction, oven and broiler safe up to 500F. Wait, its also dishwasher safe.

The 1.5Q size is perfect for warming up soup for one, warm sauces or dips, or cooking veggies or oatmeal. Heats evenly and quickly and has a stay-cool handle. Demeyere is the best of the best and you will not want to use another, once you try these!

This is a great pan, it has 5 layers that cooks evenly its the perfect size for rice, soup, Mac & chesse, vegetables and reheating leftovers.

This 5 ply constructed stainless steel saucepan is the best one you will ever own. We love Demeyere. It cooks so well, heats fast, and easy to clean. I highly recommend any of these pieces.

I love every Demeyere pot/pan that I own and this one is no exception. The construction is far superior to anything else on the market. The 5-ply with a thick aluminum core, heats quickly and distributes the heat evenly which means your sauces come out just the way you want, no hot spots to burn the bottom. I use this pan endlessly for sauces, and risottos, which come out beautifully every time. This line has so many extras that are normally not addressed. Pouring rims, stay cool handels and no rivets are all much appreciated.

Great saucepan! The 5 layers heats up quickly and evenly. Great for boiling water or a sauce. The lids are insulated so that too helps keep heat inside! The silvonox keeps the stainless bright and beautiful. Great investment no matter what size sauce pan you choose.

This small saucepan is functional and efficient for your smaller cookware needs. Whether whipping up a quick sauce or just cooking some morning oats, this 1.5qt saucepan is a pro at making your cook time much more efficient. With five layers of stainless steel and an aluminum core, this little pan will quickly and evenly distribute and retain heat.
