My wife has wanted a good knife set for many years. There was a rather large sale or, just a great price on this ZWILLING Now S 6-pc Knife Block Set, so I thought OK I'll buy it. Overall the knives are all excellent and crazy sharp. I knew they may not be the heaviest gauge knives because the price was so low..but still the overall quality is excellent vs the price-point..or vs the usual Made in China copy knives. Speaking of which, I deducted 1 star because ONLY the scissor which is actually excellent, IS Made in China and far as I know, I thought everything here was made in Germany. I do wish perhaps like most knife sets the knives would go in more like at a 45 degree angle rather than straight up. That said, this set sits on our counter and taking the knives out vertically has not been an issue. Overall we are VERY pleased with this knife set esp it's price vs the quality!
