[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a huge purchase for me and I wanted to invest in a set of fine cutlery. I did my research compared line by line to other fine companies. I even went to a restaurant supply store to actually see feel the weight. Taking all into consideration my great choice was JA Henckels international. Love my set. Thank you JAH.

Great knives right out of the box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives are great right out of the box. I've used them a lot recently cutting meat for smoking prep and canning veggies. Haven't needed to hand sharpen them once yet! Very good quality they feel like they'll last a lifetime! More than worth the money!!!

Broken handles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives are such a great addition to my culinary tools! They come individually wrapped so no accidental cuts while unpacking. The block is gorgeous and looks great in the kitchen! The knives are sturdy and have a even distributed weight. The handles aren’t flimsy plastic ones but go seamlessly with the knife itself. Great job! I’m in love!

Key to every kitchen

My last Henckels set lasted me over 20 years and still has life left on it. I received this set as a gift - make any chef’s kitchen complete with this perfect set! I highly recommend it.

Very pleased upon opening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though I have not yet used this knife set, I just cleaned my knives and put them in the knife block. I was very pleased at how safely the knives were all packaged, with a sturdy brown paper envelope over the blade and plastic wrapping too. This helped me to know these knives were coming protected and in good condition. They were very easy to hand wash with warm water and dish soap and to hand dry with a wash cloth. Not to mention, the knife block looks very sophisticated and sleek, yet still homey. The knives fit seamlessly into the knife block, and are secure in it too. The block is also very sturdy wood, angled in a way in which it is protected against being knocked over. I also love that the block is raised on four circular pads, to keep the wood protected and safe from being scratched on the counter or scratching the counter. Not to mention, there’s a great variety of knives that I believe will suit bread, meat, and vegetable cutting very nicely.

Get the basics covered

Good value. I like any set that comes with two cook's knives - the 8-inch chef and a 7-inch santoku. The next two knives most folks need are a paring knife and a bread knife. This set covers it then! Plus it comes with 6 steak knives. You are ready to cook.
The Statement line is a very distinctive, and very popular around the world. Stamped from high quality German steel, they are durable and will maintain their sharpness with normal care. These full tang knives feature an steel cap at feel secure in most hands. The curve at the end of the handle is comfortable for larger hands. These knives are a very good value.
