Great looking set for the contemporary kitchen. Love the black block and brushed finish on the stainless steel knife handles and honing steel. Comfortable handle and lightweight.

Tired of cheap knives

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this knife set as a Christmas gift from my husband. The knives we have we got as a wedding gift 20 years ago. They have plastic handle and have been breaking. All of them are serrated and have never been the best knives. So excited to finally have a nice set!! Haven’t had a chance to use many yet but the few I have are already better than the old ones.

While that set is still going strong and sharp, I wanted a new set with more knife options. The Modernist definitely fit what I was looking for. Beautiful and cuts so smoothly. Our original set is going to our lake home and I’ll be enjoying my new set for another 30 years!

Love this set! The knives are so sharp & the handles feel great! Though dishwasher safe, you can wash by hand too for longevity. Best set of knives we’ve owned.
