Great set of very sharp knives

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exceptionally sharp right out of the box, and hold a good edge for a long time. The paring knives are so sharp, I've never had to sharpen them at all. Chef's knife cuts through chicken like butter, even cartilage and bones on the wings.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very nice set, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice set, but going on only 1 year old, and already have some with rust spots, pitting & actual breakage of the blade.. I never put them in the dishwasher, hand
washing only; always using a plastic neoprene cutting board. Other than these issues, I love the style & weight of this set; however, it makes it hard to recommend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the black block with Silver knives, and the fact the knives are one solid piece, making it easy for dishwasher. Edges holds up very well!
