Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this as an update to our kitchen remodel. We received our original set as a wedding gift 20+ years ago and they have been fabulous but past their prime and I was told they cannot be sharpened. Original block was maple in color and the knives were made in Japan. This is a darker color and knives show they were made in India- hope and anticipate these will be of the same caliber. Looking forward to using them in the “new” kitchen.

When shopping for value priced knives you might be on a budget but you don't want to sacrifice sharpness and durability. Everedge series microserrated knives will not disappoint and are perfect for a starter kitchen . Stamped from a single sheet of high quality stainless steel they are light weight and corrosion resistant. I like the way the handle is high on the bolster because it provides a comfortable area for my pinch grip but the best feature is that they never need to be sharpened because of the microserrated edge. This block set has six knives that are the most used as well as shears and six steak knives...your whole kitchen will be set up with one value priced purchase!

The edge of the knife is sharp and I thought they were smooth, something that demotivated me to do something else, they are flexible, they don't seem to last long, I hope the guarantee is long
