Great quality set for the price!

Recently purchased new 14 piece set to replace a set list in a move! Talk about being upset!
New set is the entry level into Henckels as I already have four other higher quality Henckels knives (1 chef’s, 1 hollow edge, 2 paring) from buying them separately before getting the new set that included steak knives that we will need for the upcoming holidays. I am very pleased with the quality for the price though.
Company should consider marketing a higher quality set that include a drawer block instead of the counter block. I for one would have bought that but sets were limited in my small home town.

Inspect upon arrival

I received the set for Christmas and was happy with the look and weight of knives but had issues with two of the steak knives. One had a bent tip and the other had chips in the handle. Both the steak knives and set are out of stock so have to wait to see what comes into inventory first. Once replaced I believe I would be happy with the end product.

Good for first time homeowners

Got as a Christmas gift. Used a couple times already and the big knives aren’t the best. It’s hard to cut big things evenly, I thought it was just me but after reading other reviews, I see it’s not. I do believe it’s a good set for a first time homeowner. The steak knives get the job done. I’ll plan on upgrading in the future.
