[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a gift. It would be a pristine set, beautifully displayed on my counter if it was not for one of the tips of the steak knives was bent and subsequently catches on my dish towels.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Knives brake within a year, don't stay sharp

Initially liked the set. Ove a year have become rusty, have to sharpen after every use, and tonight broke a steak knife cutting cream cheese. Great beginner set, dont expect them to last over a year.

Great Wedding Gift

I bought this set as a wedding gift because I have always loved Zwilling products. This was a perfect gift for new couple who is learning to cook. It was important to me that the set was not made in China. This one is made in India!

Great set for cooking couple

This turned out to be the perfect set for my husband and I. We really only use a few knives. He wanted steak knives in the set, I wanted a pretty block and we were looking for good price but prefereably not made in China. We are both really pleased.

Every Knife You'll Need

This is a great set for the value! I love the curved design of the handle where it meets the blade. This makes it really comfortable to hold the knife with a pinch grip. The set really gives you every knife that you need. With the Chef, Paring, and Serrated knives, you can do any task in the kitchen. These knives are very sharp and move quickly through whatever I’m cutting. I’m very impressed with how well these knives perform.
