Incredible valuse - a lifetime of service!

These knives have been my go-to cutlery for three straight years, and I use them every single day. They're nearly as sharp as the first day I used them with only periodic honing to restore their ability to slice thin slices of tomato. The only drawback is that they've spoiled me so much I wish I could travel with them - using someone else's dull knives is dangerous and takes all the fun out of cooking.

Love this handle

This unique handle is so comfortable to hold, I feel like I get a really good grip. This set includes a santoku which has become one of my favorite knives for chopping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a couple years of using old, unsharpened knives, this knife set is a revelation. One of my least favorite things was slicing tomatoes with a defective knife - what a mess! But these knives make clean, effective slicing an easy and enjoyable task. We plan to make potatoes au gratin tonight and I have no doubt we will be able to thinly sliced the potatoes with minimal effort. I love that it comes with a sharpener too, so never again will I have to suffer dull knives.

What. great price for a forged set

love the weight on this set of knives. The handles are comfortable and the blades stay very sharp. I confess that I use the santoku and the tomato knives the most because they are my favs!
