[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a couple years of using old, unsharpened knives, this knife set is a revelation. One of my least favorite things was slicing tomatoes with a defective knife - what a mess! But these knives make clean, effective slicing an easy and enjoyable task. We plan to make potatoes au gratin tonight and I have no doubt we will be able to thinly sliced the potatoes with minimal effort. I love that it comes with a sharpener too, so never again will I have to suffer dull knives.

The knives look amazing and the block is streamlined to take up little space on the counter. The knives came out if the box sharp and feel good in the hand. Light weight but you still feel fully controlled. A few dishes in and they are truly living up to the Henckels name. Great purchase, would recommend
