Works very well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t think this would be different than any other pull through sharpeners, but it is. I don’t really know why, but it brought my old fillet knife back to life. I could watch as the chips in the edge disappeared. I stopped every 10 pulls to check and after 40 pulls on the coarse stone, the edge was restored. I finished with 10 pulls on the fine stone and then tested on a tomato. It cuts like the day I bought it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the knife sharpening kit is not your normal rod. Instead it has two different sharpening stones which helps sharen the knife in the correct way.

Astonishing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the Wulstof sharpener for ages and seen no reason to upgrade. The knives I used stayed sharp and I was happy with that. However after we switched from Wulstolf to Zwilling I considered the sharpener finally giving in when I realized I’d had my last for up to 7 years. My Zwilling knives were sharper and better made out of the box but i could chalk that up to getting the Silver Point II set which are really a middle of the road set compared to what we have now. But upon arrival I did a tomato test. My first cut was nice, it was a great cut and I'd be happy with that, however after testing 3 knives and then sharpening and testing again I realize instantly how there are significant levels as to how sharp a knife can be. With no effort at all the knife went through the tomato, cutting a cube or a sliver without a bit of crush being applied that would smush the tomato. The system itself is light as its mostly hollow, but its attractive and will remain on the counter for years to come. The ease of sharpening is a simple 4 pull away strokes that leave the knife cut through the gates of heaven sharp. i don't have any Japanese steel to test this on but as for the provided European sharperner (there is a Japanese and European angle provided, as well as two stones, course or medium/fine) and I cannot say I have ever felt a sharper knife. Which says a lot since Ive spent a decade knowing or being around Chef's.
