Built like a tank to last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Staub makes great cast. Great even heat retention and you have to love the easy maintenance finish. While not necessary, I like to use a lard stick after a wash with a quick pass and wipe down. This is the companion to the Staub Dutch I bought years ago and still looks new. Now to figure out what to cook tonight.
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of my favorite Staub pieces

This braiser is the *best*. I, very sadly, had a bunch of Staub pieces stolen out of storage after I moved. This was the very first piece I replaced because it is so versatile. It is a must have piece in my opinion. Fry some fish? Make some ratatouille? Boil full length spaghetti? yes yes and yes. The grenadine is pictured here with a brass knob but I did not receive a brass knob - bummer : the knob I got was silver, FYI. I had the matte black before and that was my favorite.
