Demeyere offers many features taht allow this line to stand out. The laser welded handles allow strong attachment to the pan without needing to have rivets on the inside of the pan. A treatment to the metal, called Silvinox, keeps the steel from darkening by removing the impurities, this imparts a pretty silver-white color to the pans that is maintained over the long haul. The ample stay cool sandblasted handles make for easy gripping and moving of the pans. Lots of features, making this line well worth the premium price.

Well made and heavy duty. And because of its thickness, its perfect for frying. Its also very good for slower cooking methods. The coating inside prevents things from sticking. Also, this thing heats up quickly. Love this skillet, so i bought the 8" & 12" too. These skillets will last a lifetime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the frying pan skillet 8”& 9.5 ,low sauté pan, and I just bought the non stick coating pan. Love the ability to cook evenly and family has to follow directions on cooking with them. They noticed the difference as well.

Just received a 10 piece Demeyere set including this frying pan. I love to cook so even though it’s 2:30 in the afternoon, I decided to wash the pan and cook a fried egg how I like it along with some sticky rice so I could test it out cooking something simple but delicate, and cleaning it. In short, I can’t wait to cook more with this set!
The pan heated up evenly and quickly and the egg fried up perfectly. Used a little bit of butter and there was no issue with sticking. The fit an finish of this set is great- Looks sharp, they’ve got some weight to them, handles have a nice texture for grip and feel nice in the hand. I’m excited to keep using this pan and the rest of the set to see how it holds up over time. i’m careful with my cookware so I anticipate this set lasting me for years to come without issues.
