This color just brings happiness to your kitchen and the pan, the pan is one of my most used pans. The double handle is perfect for transferring from the oven/stove to the table. The dark interior is great for browning, frying and sauteing due to the pourous coasting which captures the juices and creates an even layer under your protein or vegetables for even cooking and easy release. I use this for baking single layer cakes as well for family gatherings.

Great Fry Pan for everything!

This Staub skillet is deep and great for sauteing pan, stir frying, not just for paella dish but a daily usage pan. Skillets with double handle is really great, having an extra handle for more control when transferring your delicious food and less fatigue. Keep food warm and evenly cooked for cast iron offers steady, even heat distribution, so the temperature of the pan won't drop as you cook. Basil is my most favorite color for Staub collections, colorful enamel outside adds flare to your kitchen and table. Safe for use on all types of heat sources, including gas, electric, and induction, and oven safe up to 500F.

great for stove and oven

I am so happy with this pan. The enamel cast iron means no seasoning and easy cleanup. The matte textured interior allows fats and oil underneath the food producing great sears, browning and easy release. The cast iron heats very evenly and retains heat very well. The pan is deep enough to also use as a roasting/baking pan in the oven. The double handle design gives more cooking surface while taking up less space than a long handled smaller pan.

A great large fry pan

A great alternative pan if you don’t want to get the larger paella pan, or if you want to make large portions of a recipe. Having double handles really helps carry this piece over to the stove to oven to the table. With the black enameled, it really creates a nice sear, browning of anything you make in this large fry pan. I also really love that basil color, it’s a great shade of green and looks great in a kitchen.

Imagine this: serving your family a meal in this beautiful basil fry pan straight from the stove to the table. The double handles will certainly make it easy to carry from the stovetop and the basil color is sure to make a gorgeous statement at the table. The interior nonstick enameled coating will expertly brown and sear the food, making it as aesthetically pleasing as the outside color.

This is my favorite pan for breakfast foods. Awesome for deep dish egg fritattas, perfect for browning bacon and hash browns. I also use this pan for pull apart rolls and cinnamon buns.
It's everything you would expect from a Staub cast iron. Heavy weight, even heating. Beautifully constructed. Easy release. Love this color. Earthy and rich.

This is a great cast iron griddle, I use it for Eggs, Bacon and Panini Sandwiches. I love the Grenadine color and perfect with my other Stove pieces!

I recently added this fry pan to my Staub collection and can't believe I waited so long to do so. You can fry, saute, bake or serve in it. The pan has amazing heat distribution and works well on my not so great stove top. It can go into the oven up to 500F. I use it for paella on the BBQ all the time.
