I ordered this piece after reading Mimi Thorisson's cookbooks. It looked like just the right piece for us. Sadly, it was to big for our cooktop so I returned it.

Not your traditional black cast iron.

Hands down, so versatile. Breakfast-eggs, bacon, frittata or pancakes. Sear steaks then throw it in the oven to finish it. Or celebrate with the kids and make a huge chocolate chip cookie, served warm with ice cream. The enamel makes it so easy to clean compared to traditional cast iron. Great weight.

The 10" black matte fry pan will fit in with any kitchen decor. The cast iron is perfect for browning and searing which is exactly what you want in a quality fry pan! Fry up tortillas, brown some shrimp or back a delicious dutch baby in this excellent piece from Staub.

Fry pan cast iron is the best!

Staub skillet cast iron is so versatile to add in your cookware collections and also served as saute' and stir fry pan. Skillets with double handle for more control when transferring your delicious dish to your beautiful Staub cast iron plate and keep it warm. That spout is so useful to keep those juice in the right place.
