Love this piece but just a bit too large (unless we have company). Keeping this but will get the 10” for everyday use It’s just my husband and I and the 10” will be more practical. Waited far too long to buy my first Staub!!!

The crispiest potatoes or the perfectly seared, medium-rare strip steak. Those are my first two votes for what to cook in my 12-inch skillet on any given day. Nothing like cast iron to take the heat and transfer it to whatever I am cooking. Love that I can finish cooking in the oven when I need to. Stove to oven to table. Nothing easier. Enamel coating makes clean up and maintenance a snap. No seasoning. Everyone needs one - maybe two. What if you want fried potatoes with steak?

Modern Replacement for "Old Rusty"

Functions equally, if not better, than our old raw cast iron. Enameled inside and out, it's not only easier to clean but distributes heat to every edge evenly. Pouring spouts are super useful.

Great cast iron pan

Love having a cast iron piece that will last forever. This fry pan is a great size, you can make a lot and have more space for chicken, meat to cook while not overcrowding the pan. The enameling does such a great job of searing but also releasing food. With the pouring spouts, it makes it a lot easier to pour sauce out of the pan.

You absolutely cannot beat the quality of Staub. The colors are stunning and the black interior performs like a champ. It browns beautifully, and afterall, color is flavor. Everything releases nicely making clean up super easy. It is the perfect pan for frying fish, chicken or anything. But don't stop there, it does a great job with cornbread. I love the crispy crust I get when baking. I've had a 10" fry pan for over 10 years and it still looks brand new.

If you are looking for a great quality cast iron enamel fry pan, look no further. Staub is top of the line. No need to season, doesn't rust, and great even heating. Nice dark interior that won't stain, and gives your meats a nice professional sear. Oven safe, which means it can also double as a roasting pan. Love using for spatchcock chicken and vegetables.

Staub is the highest quality cast iron enamel and is perfect for the home cook. Love using for blackened salmon which needs an extremely hot surface in order to achieve the best results. Gets really hot and requires very little additional fats and oils.
