I use this fry pan for everything. The heat capability of the pan is amazing - heats up quickly and evenly. We are a burger / steak family and the searing capability of this pan is phenomenal. The high sides prevent grease from getting on the stove top. It is also our favorite pan for making home made tortillas!

Griddle in the morning, fry pan in the evening, this pan gets used everyday.
Give it a light coat of vegetable oil, add a little butter for frying eggs and you're ready to cook. Because of its size it does take a little longer to heat up, 10 min. on med-low heat.
I admit I bought my first piece of Staub because of the beautiful grenadine color, little did I know that it would lead to replacing all my cookware with Staub. It cooks so evenly and everything tastes so much better I will never use anything else.

This Staub skillet is deep and great for sauteing pan, stir frying, not just for paella dish but a daily usage pan. great useful pan

I am so happy with this pan. The enamel cast iron means no seasoning and easy cleanup. The matte textured interior allows fats and oil underneath the food producing great sears, browning and easy release. The cast iron heats very evenly and retains heat very well. The pan is deep enough to also use as a roasting/baking pan in the oven. The double handle design gives more cooking surface while taking up less space than a long handled smaller pan.

The bigger, the better is what they say and this 13" grenadine fry pan is no exception to that rule! Easily fit whatever you are frying up and/or baking in this large and beautiful fry pan. The double handles make it easy to transfer and you can be sure that the nonstick enameled surface will expertly brown/sear and cook your food.

this 13 inch wide base pan is perfect for every day , every meal use! I love it for breakfast meats and eggs as well as making perfect burgers. You can really get a nice crusty outside while the meat stays moist on the inside. It is also a perfect choice for shallow frying chicken or making meatballs. Extremely versatile. Everything you expect from a Staub cast iron!

This is a great cast iron griddle, I use it for Eggs, Bacon and Panini Sandwiches. I love the Grenadine color and perfect with my other Stove pieces!

No trouble finding things to cook in this

If I could have only one frying pan, it would probably be this one. It is a little on the large size for the two of us, but I could do everything in it! It's a great size and shape to pan fry and deep fry, simmer, braise and saute. It also works for roasting and baking. And of course, it is beautiful when food is served in it at the table. The uses of this pan are pretty limitless, just be prepared for leftovers if you are cooking for two. Ideal for 4-6 people.
Plus this pan, like all Staub cast iron is enamel coated inside and out. There isn't any need for seasoning or extra maintenance. It works on all cook tops and in the oven and heating is even and well distributed. It is a world class cooking pan, right in your own home.
