This pan is a beautiful creation. It is large enough to fit four chicken breasts or steaks, or whatever you choose, without any crowding. The heat distributes nicely and the cleanup is easy. I love the handles that don't get in the way of anything else and allow it to go in the oven easily. I am excited to use it all the time and happy that I treated myself to this special gift. Thank you to Staub for their attention to detail and also for the beautiful packaging. Also thank you to ZWILLING for offering it a great price.

What a versitile pan!
I make a recipe of bread dressing topped with a spatchcocked chicken and have tried many different types of pans to get the correct results. This pan did the trick. The dressing was crispy around the edges and on the bottom and the chicken was cooked to perfection.
This pan can be used for so many different recipes from paellas to frittatas to chicken mole. The double handles are great for browning on the stove top and then slipping into the oven without being awkward to manage.

WOW, where have I been?? tThis pan is exactly what I've needed without knowing it. I love the large flat surface, great for frying or browning, the high sides make it so useful for sauteing or baking nd the open area makes it great for roasting or using as a plancha on the grill. This pan does it all and in the enameled cast iron, it is easy to care for, solid enough to use all the time and the handles, really make it an easy lift no matter the contents!

Purchased this pan after significant research. I use it most often for stovetop dishes, and those which are then finished in oven. I wanted a very large base with straight sides, and preferred a black interior vs light enamel. I love this pan, like my Staub dutch oven it is easy to clean, and heats quickly. And its so pretty! Wish it had a lid available. It's so large that you have to use two pieces of foil to cover its width. Don't forget your barkeepers friend, it works wonders to keep these high quality pans looking new.

great for a crowd

I love cooking fritatas and big breakfast in my cast iron skillet but they aren't quite big enough for a large crowd. This pan is the perfect size. Nice and wide with deep walls. Its great on the stovetop for pancakes and scrambles and also amazing in the oven for baked dishes. The enamel coated cast iron gives me great browning and an easy realease. It cleans up very well too. A great buy.

I am so happy with this pan. The enamel cast iron means no seasoning and easy cleanup. The matte textured interior allows fats and oil underneath the food producing great sears, browning and easy release. The cast iron heats very evenly and retains heat very well. The pan is deep enough to also use as a roasting/baking pan in the oven. The double handle design gives more cooking surface while taking up less space than a long handled smaller pan.
