Perfect size!

Went back and forth between the 7qt and the 9 qt. Even when I got home I thought id made a mistake.. it seemed so big for 4 people. Boy was i wrong, so glad I went with the 9! I have plenty of room inside for my food to comfortable stretch out and cook evenly. I was moving form the 5.5 qt, which I though was good enough. I wish i had bought a large one earlier, I can use if for when we have guests or just want extra food and the surface area for the initial browning of the meat is so helpful. I love Staub and have loved it for while so this is just the new jewel in the crown!

For large gatherings this Staub 9 qt Dutch oven is the ideal size. The enameled black matte interior promotes perfect browning, braising and caramelization. Coupled with the continuous self-basting spikes found on the underside of the lid your recipes will be more tender, moist, and flavorful. Available in a beautiful assortment of matte and glossy colors.

Super Bowl Sunday chili for a crowd!!! this is a magnificent pot. A little heavy, but worth it's weight. I use this for large family gatherings. Love it for Pasta Fagiole, stews and Chili!! Stays warm for a long time!

Perfect Family Size

We have out grown our 7Qt Staub cocotte and the 9Qt is perfect. This pan can do it all - fry, saute, braise and bake. Our kitchen is tiny so we often use our BBQ as another cooking surface and this pan works perfectly on it and don't worry if any soot gets on it it comes right off.

Just Enough Size For All Cooking Needs!

This 9qt. cocotte has so much space for a large dish from kitchen to roasting a big chunk of beef, and pork. It is so great for stew and slow cooking process. The innovative lid features tiny spikes on the interior that continually release condensed liquid back onto the food, yielding moist, flavorful results

This 9qt round is a great size for many of your bigger dishes. The innovative self-basting lid and nonstick interior will result in food that's incredibly flavored and perfectly textured. The Black Matte exterior matches the interior and goes well with any kitchen decor.
