Love to cook with Staub

Best Value Pot, For A 9qt. Cast Iron!

This 9qt. cocotte has so much space for a large dish from kitchen to roasting a big chunk of beef, and pork. It is so great for stew and slow cooking process. The innovative lid features tiny spikes on the interior that continually release condensed liquid back onto the food, yielding moist, flavorful results
Cast iron's are the most durable cookware, natural heat retention and redistribution that cooks well and evenly. Every Staub cast iron are enameled. Safe for use on all types of heat sources, including gas, electric, and induction, and oven safe up to 500F. Chip resistant and dishwasher safe. Made in France.
Black matte enamel inside and cooking surface creates a culinary advantage for better browning, braising, and roasting. Colorful enamel outside adds flare to your kitchen and table.

Hungry family

Nice a big for a large hungry family. I've learned a bigger pot is always better than a pot too small. No worries when we cook a roast or chicken. And great for the chili cook-off with friends. It is heavy but I find if I take the lid off to transfer it from oven to table, it alleviates a lot of the weight.

No other cast iron on the market compares to Staub. The black enamel interior browns and carmelizes so well. The lids fit tightly so those self basting spikes underneath keep your creation moist and flavorful whether you are cooking on the stovetop or in the oven. The colors available are so beautiful, it's hard to choose.

The self-basting spikes on the under side of the lid promise the best flavor possible by keeping and evenly distributing all of the rising moisture. Perfect large dutch oven

I love using this pot for so many recipes. This is a great large size cocotte, I’ve used the 5.5 qt before and sometimes that would be too small, but with the 9 qt. you’re not restricted when making large soups or dutch oven recipes. I love how well this heats up and retains the heat. I also love that the lid actually does something in the cooking process, and that I don’t have to worry about my food going dry. It’s heavy, but very durable, I absolutely love this piece and this color, the Graphite color looks great in any modern, neutral kitchen; subtitle but is also a statement color.
