Most Excellent Purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cast iron enameled Cocotte is gorgeous, first of all! The rooster handle is a fun accent to have! But, you buy a piece of cookware to use and this does not disappoint. It's the perfect size for soup, pasta, a roast or a whole chicken. Everything turns out amazingly well and it's a snap to clean. If you happen to burn a little, just let it soak and out comes the remainder. I think the bottom line is that cast iron just cooks better. And you'll enjoy the benefits of cooking in this oval Cocotte for a very long time.
