I like that it's a little larger and have made a couple of Stews this past winter. Really like the knobs as an embellishment. Very strong & cleans up beautifully.

Never had oval-shaped cocotte before...yet nearly all guests make comment! Heats up quickly/cleans easily and nice deep burgundy-like colour. rooster handle looks neat and doesn't wanna burn ya!

Third one for me in this deep blue colour. Pleasantly surprised by the fact the bottom has adequate size for braising as well! Cute rooster for uniqueness...Easy cleaning inside and out.

Even heat distribution and continual moisture release via small nobs on lid make this one a must have. Large enough for decent-sized chicken or roast. Gradual coloration of gray color is quite appealing

I'm thinking Caribbean chicken with this cocotte. This pan has crazy heat capability , it heats up quickly and evenly, also stays hot for hours. It has self-basting spikes on the interior of the lid which collect and return all moisture back into dish - nothing dries out and the food stays moist. I often pan fry burgers in the pan and the searing capability of the pan is phenomenal.
